I spent a year at University of Washington studying and working with teachers and professionals in the Seattle area on the best practices in Data Visualization. I focused my projects on Seattle data about crime, personal race courses, times, and education.

Masters in HCI

After working for several years as a voice and multi-modal interface designer, I enrolled in Carnegie Mellon’s Masters in Human Computer Interaction Program. There I studied Design, Human Factors, Prototyping and worked with the Office of Naval Research on a multimodal technical manual for SLQ32 radar systems.

As an undergrad I took the typical breadth of courses ranging from Computer Science to Architecture, rowed crew, and narrowed my focus when I began work in the Brandeis Memory and Cognition Laboratory. There I worked with Ph.D. Candidates and Post-Docs and helped to publish Listening to spoken text: Adult age differences as revealed by self-paced listening.
